Rose Garden

The Knicks finally made a move and acquired Jalen Rose from the Toronto Raptors for the embattled Antonio Davis. This trade has been in the works for almost two years. New York finally has an experienced gritty shooting guard who isn't afraid to take the big shot. I hope Jalen can put his differences with head coach Larry Brown behind him and actually play some defense for once in his career. In losing Davis they give up a veteran leader and an inside presence, but his off court behavior will not be missed. After being traded from his wife's hometown of Chicago to NY, he complained and threatened not to report to Knick camp. Then a couple weeks ago he decided to enter the stands to stick up for his wife who had a shouting match with a fan. He has already burned his bridge to Toronto when again his wife became involved. She reportedly talked bad about Canada and refused to have her children taught by Canadian educators
